Selling your home

Life’s biggest transaction deserves a thorough agent.

Our agents have long, solid experience from banking, finance, sales and estate agency — a combination that is worth its weight in gold for a smooth sale at the best possible price.

In short — what does it take?

Every potential buyer needs to know what you know.

It's no use if only you know how pleasant the neighbourhood is, how lovely the view is or how happy the children are here. It is our job to tell them — and to make sure the right buyers come to the viewing.

The agent's personal effort is decisive — but so is a solid marketing effort. We know the local market like the back of our hand, and we know the buyers.

  • One agent in charge — and the whole sales team matching their buyers to your home
  • A comprehensive marketing package at a fixed, agreed price
  • We agree the timeline together — fast, or when it suits you

What decides the price of your home

24 June 2020

Did you pay too much for your home, or do you feel you got a bargain? Perhaps you simply paid exactly the right price.

As estate agents, we play a central role in pricing homes. Buyer and seller must be able to trust that the starting price is correct and in line with the market.

The key factors are location, surroundings, infrastructure, property type and standard — the age of the roof, windows, drainage, insulation, kitchen, bathrooms and electrics. Then the prices achieved for similar properties weigh heavily. Finally, the market decides.

The asking price is simply the expected price, based on what comparable properties have achieved. The more ordinary the property, the easier it is to get right — and the longer and broader the agent's experience, the more accurate the pricing.

All of us at Jenssen & Bolle warmly welcome you to an entirely no-obligation conversation about your plans to sell.
